SHORT DESCRIPTION
As a leader in China’s white-feathered broiler industry, Sunner Group has built a national top broiler breeding-processing chain and now established an industry museum in its Guangze County (Nanping, Fujian) factory. Nestled in the Wuyi Mountains’ extension, the area boasts lush forests, a pleasant ecology, and Sunner’s zero-pollution circular breeding system. The nearby Futun River meanders around, while highways, living areas, and reserved land are neatly arranged, laying a perfect foundation for the museum. Adopting "recreate mountain landscape", the museum integrates with nature via three curved, upward-tilting roofs—mimicking Wuyi’s undulations—and forms suspended landscape courtyards. The interlocking roof design ensures independent internal spaces and smooth traffic. Its facade uses concrete folded plates (inspired by steel retaining walls): lower ones act as stable walls, entrance areas combine with glass for transparency. Gaps let in light and scenery; diagonal textures aid drainage and hide ventilation louvers. The main hall, supported by four silo-shaped shear walls, has a 25m-high atrium (column-free for large exhibits) and north-facing skylights. For Fujian’s hot-humid climate, it has inclined roofs for rapid drainage and soil-covered roofs for heat insulation. Post-completion, it’s a new start for Wuyi’s industrial tourism—showcasing modern agriculture by day, opening roof platforms to the public at night. It also serves as a high-end industry exchange hub, redefining industrial buildings’ bond with nature and embodying China’s modern agriculture sustainability.
